Head of Economic Department Team Lead – Tel Aviv (Central Region)
For a leading media company in the Central region, we are looking for an experienced Head of Economic Department to lead the economic team and drive key financial and business processes across the organization. The role includes a close partnership with senior leadership and a significant impact on strategic decision‑making.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the economic department.
Build, manage, and monitor the company’s annual budget.
Prepare management reports and executive presentations.
Conduct in‑depth financial and business analyses and provide strategic recommendations.
Perform forecasts, monthly budget controls, variance analysis, and insights.
Analyze product costs and profitability and support pricing processes.
Improve workflows, tools, and performance metrics.
Report directly to the CFO.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting (Master’s degree – an advantage).
4+ years of experience in a similar financial/economic role – must.
Proven experience leading cross‑organizational processes and implementing control tools – must.
Strong proficiency in Excel, BI tools, Qlik View, and financial systems – must.
High‑level English – must.
Experience managing a team – must.
Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and understanding of organizational processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior leadership
