Senior Manual QA Engineer

As a Senior Manual QA Engineer within our Full-Stack Engineering group, you will spearhead quality efforts for a high-priority product. You will act as the sole quality authority within your squad, owning the entire testing lifecycle from initial feature kickoff to production release. This role is designed for a strategic tester who thrives on technical complexity and wants to make a direct impact on a product central to the company’s business growth.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end manual testing processes (functional, regression, integration, and system) for complex client/server and SaaS features.
• Partner with engineering teams during design phases to define comprehensive test plans and validate developer-led testing efforts.
• Execute advanced system analysis, including stress, load, and longevity testing across both UI and backend infrastructures.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into complex user workflow defects to identify root causes and provide detailed reproduction steps.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Manual QA Engineer, specifically in Software/SaaS environments.
• Proven expertise in web application testing, including complex UI flows, data visualization, and table filtering.
• Proficiency in API testing and troubleshooting using tools such as Postman and bug tracking systems like Jira.
• High proficiency in English (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate technical findings clearly.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the Cybersecurity or data-intensive software sectors.
• Practical experience with database operations (SQL queries, data import/export).
• Background in high-growth B2B SaaS environments with rapid (weekly) release cycles.
• Strong analytical skills focused on investigating backend services, including DB and MQ.
• Experience working as an independent QA contributor within an engineering squad.
