Head Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced Head Bookkeeper to manage our accounting department and oversee the financial integrity of our global operations. This is a senior, mission-oriented role requiring a high level of responsibility, leadership, and technical expertise in international accounting.

Core Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of at least 7-10 bookkeepers, providing professional guidance and ensuring high standards of performance across the department.
• Financial Period Closing procedures: Lead the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management.
• Global Accounting: Oversee multi-currency transactions, international bank reconciliations, and global entity reporting.
• Full-Cycle Oversight: Supervise all aspects of the General Ledger (GL), balance sheets, payroll processing, and payment cycles.
• Internal Control: Serve as a trusted advisor to management, ensuring all financial activities are transparent, compliant, and accurately documented.

Requirements

• Management Experience: Proven track record of managing an accounting team in a fast-paced environment.
• International Expertise: Extensive experience working within global companies, managing multi-currency environments and international reporting frameworks.
• NetSuite Proficiency: Advanced experience with NetSuite is a MUST.
• Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of balance sheets, bank reconciliations, tax reporting, and payroll.
• Language Skills: High level of English (written and spoken) is required for communication with global stakeholders.
• Professional Attributes: Highly task-oriented, responsible, and capable of maintaining a high level of trust and confidentiality.
