For a leading and successful defense company in the Sharon area, we are recruiting a Global Procurement Manager.
In this role you will lead end-to-end procurement operations for a premier technology company specializing in advanced electronic systems and power supplies for the global defense market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and matrix management for procurement teams in Israel and globally, while implementing international Best Practices.
- Build long-term plans, perform market analysis, and mitigate supply chain risks while leading Cost Reduction and Value Engineering initiatives.
- Work in close synergy with Engineering (NPI, BOM Management) and Quality departments to ensure supplier qualification and adherence to strict military standards.
- Lead complex global negotiations, identify strategic vendors, and manage international contracts under rigorous regulatory frameworks.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in Global Procurement Management within the Electronics or Power Supplies industry – Mandatory.
- Deep experience working within the Defense market and familiarity with military standards and regulations.
- Strong ability to lead complex matrix organizations with a broad business perspective and the ability to "dive deep" into technical details.
- High proficiency in ERP systems (Priority or SAP – a significant advantage).
- Exceptional English at a working language level.
