Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Ramat Yishai. In this full-time, on-site role, your focus will be pure mechanical design and engineering. You will take full ownership of multidisciplinary projects, leading them independently directly in front of our clients, from the initial concept phase through to production. Responsibilities:

• Independently lead mechanical and multidisciplinary product design projects directly with clients, from initial concept to production.
• Design and develop automated machines, electronic packaging enclosures, molded plastic parts, and testing jigs utilizing Autodesk Inventor.
• Ensure all designs meet engineering standards, client specifications, and are fully optimized for manufacturing (DFM), supported by comprehensive mechanical drawings and precise technical documentation.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering OR a highly experienced Mechanical Practical Engineer with a proven track record.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in pure mechanical design and engineering – A Must.
• In-depth experience and high proficiency in Autodesk Inventor – A Must (additional experience with SolidWorks is a plus).
• Strong background in designing automated machines, electronic packaging, plastics, molds, and jigs.
• Proven track record of independently managing and leading design projects directly in front of clients.
• Solid understanding of structural mechanics, thermodynamics, and airflow principles in multidisciplinary systems, including the ability to interpret FEA and CFD simulation results to validate and improve designs.
• Exceptional technical, problem-solving, and reasoning abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
• Must be self-motivated, highly independent, and a great team player.
