Backend Engineer

An early-stage Israeli B2B startup develops a modern observability and data analytics platform designed to predict and remediate system issues autonomously using AI.

Operating with a high-caliber founding team of eight, the company is building an automated infrastructure that bridges the gap between deep data insights and proactive system health.

The engineering culture is centered on high-scale distributed systems and the integration of advanced LLM-driven workflows.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Founding Team Impact: Joining as a core backend engineer to design and build the platform’s architectural foundation from the ground up.
• AI & Agentic Workflows: Developing and orchestrating AI Agents and autonomous automation flows using LLM frameworks.
• Distributed Systems: Building high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs in Go to handle complex data processing.
• Cloud & Orchestration: Deploying and managing mission-critical services within Kubernetes environments across major cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Engineering Excellence: Implementing TDD and robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure the reliability of a predictive AI system.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Backend Engineering – Mandatory.
• Proven track record in Go (highly preferred) or strong experience in Python/Java.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, or n8n) – Mandatory.
• Direct experience building AI Agents or LLM-driven automation workflows – Mandatory.
• Significant experience with Cloud-native development and Kubernetes – Mandatory.
• Proficiency with modern CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and a strong commitment to TDD.
• Strong background in designing and scaling distributed backend architectures
