AI Machine Learning Engineer

An early-stage Israeli B2B startup is developing a modern observability and data analytics platform designed to predict and remediate system issues autonomously using AI.

Operating with a high-caliber founding team of eight, the company is building an automated infrastructure that bridges the gap between deep data insights and proactive system health.

The engineering culture focuses on high-scale distributed systems and the integration of advanced LLM-driven agents into production environments.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Founding Impact: Joining as a core engineer to design and build the platform’s architectural foundation, specifically focusing on the intersection of backend stability and AI intelligence.
• Agentic Workflows: Designing and orchestrating Autonomous AI Agents and non-linear workflows to automate complex troubleshooting tasks.
• AI Infrastructure: Building and maintaining production-grade AI pipelines using Python and advanced LLM frameworks.
• Data Management: Implementing and optimizing Vector Databases to support RAG architectures and high-speed data retrieval.
• Security & Safety: Ensuring the reliability and integrity of the platform by implementing AI Safety protocols and robust monitoring.
• Cloud Integration: Leveraging enterprise-grade AI services (OpenAI, Vertex AI, Claude) within a scalable SaaS environment.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in Python development – Mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience working within a SaaS product environment – Mandatory.
• Proven track record with LLMs, AI Agents, and Autonomous Workflows – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, or n8n) – Mandatory.
• Technical proficiency with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector) – Mandatory.
• Deep understanding of cloud-based AI services and AI Safety principles.
• Strong background in designing scalable backend architectures for data-intensive applications.
