A leading financial institution is looking for a Data Scientist to join its Model Development team, driving strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives using advanced AI technologies.

📍 Location: Lod | 🏠 Hybrid | 💼 Full-time

🔎 About the role:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced models on AWS-based infrastructure

• Generate actionable business insights using analytical tools and AI technologies

• Build algorithmic solutions for complex business challenges

• Analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources

• Present analytical findings and insights to business stakeholders

• Evaluate and improve model performance

✅ Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist

• Proven experience in the financial / banking industry

• Hands-on experience in developing Machine Learning models (classification/regression) – not just academic

• Strong experience working with tabular data

• Extensive experience in data analysis and data preparation for models

• Solid end-to-end experience in data workflows

• Strong Python development skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Experience working in cloud environments

• Experience with PySpark

🎓 Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
