Software Engineer

A high-growth Israeli technology startup is redefining human-digital interaction through advanced AI and Computer Vision technology. The company develops sophisticated eye-tracking and gaze-monitoring solutions that utilize standard built-in device cameras to create intuitive, touchless interfaces.

Operating as a specialized R&D hub of approximately 25 professionals, the organization focuses on deploying complex vision models onto resource-constrained edge devices, bridging the gap between high-level AI research and efficient embedded execution.

Role Overview:

• Core System Engineering: Designing and implementing high-performance software components in Modern C++ within a Linux environment.
• Edge AI Deployment: Taking ownership of the deployment pipeline using ONNX Runtime, including model quantization and optimization for specialized hardware.
• Embedded Optimization: Developing robust software for resource-constrained environments, including ARM Cortex, DSPs, or NPUs, ensuring minimal latency and power consumption.
• System Architecture: Architecting memory-efficient, multi-threaded applications that interface directly with hardware sensors and vision processing units.
• Cross-Platform Tooling: Managing complex build systems using CMake and overseeing cross-compilation toolchains for various mobile and embedded targets.
• Vision Integration: Collaborating with AI researchers to integrate and optimize Computer Vision algorithms into production-grade software.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field – Mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience in Senior Software Engineering with expert-level Modern C++ – Mandatory.
• Proven Embedded Expertise: Experience developing for constrained environments (ARM, DSP, or NPU) – Mandatory.
• Hands-on AI Deployment: Direct experience with ONNX Runtime, execution providers, and model optimization for the edge – Mandatory.
• Deep System Programming: Mastery of memory management, multi-threading, and hardware-software interfaces – Mandatory.
• Advanced Tooling: Mastery of CMake and experience with cross-compilation toolchains – Mandatory.
