Computer Vision & Machine Learning Algorithm Developer

A leading defense company is looking for an experienced Computer Vision & Machine Learning Algorithm Developer to join an advanced R&D group working on cutting‑edge intelligence and observation systems.

Role Description:

• Development of advanced algorithms for image understanding and analysis in the fields of Computer Vision and AI
• Work within the Image Processing group of the ISTAR & EW division on high‑power laser systems and innovative AI‑based solutions
• Participation in the design and implementation of operational intelligence and surveillance systems
• Close collaboration with system and software teams
• Independent leadership of research and algorithmic development tasks
• Contribution to system‑level understanding and integration of complex solutions in large, multidisciplinary systems

Requirements:

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Mathematics / Computer Science / Engineering
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Image Processing / Computer Vision / Machine Learning
• Strong experience with C++ and/or Python
• Practical experience with Deep Learning
• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as lead tasks independently
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a system‑level mindset
• High motivation and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with GPU Programming – an advantage
