Back End Engineer

The company is located in Central Israel (prime locations near major transport hubs) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• End-to-End Development: Taking full ownership of complex backend features, from initial design and architectural planning to production-scale deployment.
• High-Scale Engineering: Developing robust services in Java and Go within a sophisticated Multi-Cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• System Architecture: Designing and implementing scalable APIs and microservices that handle immense data throughput for global enterprise users.
• Infrastructure & Orchestration: Working extensively with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm to manage containerized applications in production.
• Database Management: Managing and optimizing relational data layers using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• AI-Assisted Development: Utilizing modern AI tools (e.g., CursorAI, Copilot) to enhance code quality and development efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional experience in Backend Development – Mandatory.
• Proven expertise in Java, Scala, Kotlin, or C++ – Mandatory.
• Significant experience with SQL and PostgreSQL – Mandatory.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments – Mandatory.
• Strong background in Microservices architecture and API design.
• Familiarity with Docker, Helm, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
