A leading financial institution in Petah Tikva is looking for a talented SOC Analyst Tier 2 to join its cybersecurity team.

📍 Location: Petah Tikva | 🏠 Hybrid | 💼 Full-time

🔎 About the role:

This position involves in-depth investigation of complex security alerts, incident response management, development of advanced detection rules, and close collaboration with infrastructure and development teams to reduce the attack surface.

💡 Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate incidents and handle escalations from Tier 1 analysts

• Analyze complex security alerts and cyber incidents (Malware, Phishing, Unauthorized Access)

• Conduct proactive Threat Hunting to identify low-signature attacks and behavioral anomalies

• Perform basic endpoint forensics and network traffic analysis

• Tune and optimize SIEM/XDR rules to reduce false positives

• Identify gaps in SOC processes and drive improvements

• Mentor and support Tier 1 analysts

✅ Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience as a SOC Analyst Tier 2

• Proven experience in incident investigation, analysis, and response

• Hands-on experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure)

• Experience with security tools (FW, IPS, WAF, SIEM, EDR/XDR, etc.)

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)

• Experience in traffic analysis using logs and tools (e.g., Wireshark)

• Basic static and dynamic analysis of suspicious files

• Ability to write technical reports in English and Hebrew

➕ Advantages:

• Scripting skills (Python or PowerShell)

• Experience with Sentinel, Splunk, or Palo Alto Cortex

• Strong query writing skills (KQL/SPL)
