About the Role
Nofar Energy Israel, the Israeli subsidiary of Nofar Energy Group is seeking a Financial Reporting Controller for a significant role involving end-to-end ownership of the company's financial reporting process.
This is an exciting opportunity to take an active part in the company's upcoming IPO at one of Israel's foremost players in the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Consolidation of financial statements across group entities
- Cross-functional collaboration within the company and with the group's finance department
- Managing the external audit process in coordination with the auditing firm
- Full-time position based at the company's offices in Kfar Saba
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting- required
- Active CPA license - required
- Internship/training at a Big 4 accounting firm - required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a financial reporting controller with hands-on experience in consolidation of financial statements at a public company - required
- Significant experience preparing annual and quarterly financial statements under IFRS - required
- Experience in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite at an advanced level — required
- IPO experience - candidates who have been through a public offering process and are familiar with prospectus preparation, working with the Israel Securities Authority (ISA), and meeting stock exchange disclosure requirements - significant advantage
- Strong knowledge of Israeli Securities Law and TASE reporting regulations - significant advantage
- Familiarity with MAGNA / ACHID reporting systems - advantage
