Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

FP&A Manager – Publicly Traded Biotech Company

Reports to: CFO

We’re looking for a highly motivated FP&A Manager to join a publicly traded biotech company at a pivotal stage of growth. This is an opportunity for an ambitious professional to work closely with the CFO and gain exposure to the full financial and operational landscape of a global company.

You’ll take ownership of key planning, analysis, and reporting processes that directly support executive decision-making. The environment is fast-paced, demanding, and deeply professional, ideal for someone who wants to develop a sharp financial skillset and see the full picture of how a public biotech company operates.

Responsibilities

• Lead all FP&A activities across the company
• Support corporate functions in annual and long-term financial and operational planning
• Develop and maintain clear, actionable reporting for internal stakeholders
• Build and manage financial models to evaluate business initiatives
• Support fundraising processes with financial data and analysis
• Collaborate with the accounting team to align reporting and close cycles
• Own the annual budget and multi-year business plan processes
• Create, update, and refine financial forecasts
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget)
• Support preparation of management and board presentations
• Conduct ad-hoc financial and business analysis as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in economics or accounting (required)
• At least 2 years of FP&A experience in a global company
• Familiarity with the biotech or pharmaceutical industry – advantage
• Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret financial data, build models, run scenarios, and identify trends
• Experience analyzing business development activity – advantage
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (at a very high level)
• Proficiency in at least one BI and ERP system – a plus
• Excellent English – required
