Job Description Summary

The HW Engineering intern will:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems.
• Perform schematic reviews and PCB layout checks under supervision.
• Support hardware validation and troubleshooting activities.
• Document test results, design changes, and technical findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, and manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of hardware components for medical imaging systems and other medical devices.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, collect data, and perform preliminary analysis under supervision.
• Support the assembly, modification, and troubleshooting of hardware prototypes.
• Participate in design reviews, providing input and learning from experienced engineers.
• Document technical specifications, test procedures, and experimental results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and systems engineering.
• Learn and apply industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to medical device development.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong academic record with a solid understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles (e.g., circuit analysis, digital logic, analog electronics).
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Basic programming skills (e.g., C, Python) for hardware interaction or data analysis are advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in medical technology.
