Who We're Looking For - The Dream Maker

We're in search of an exceptional Revenue Controller to own and manage the end-to-end Billing-to-Cash process, ensuring that all billable revenue is accurately captured, invoiced, reconciled, and collected.

This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations, ensuring that Chargeflow’s billing infrastructure and revenue recognition processes operate accurately and at scale.

The Revenue Controller will be responsible for daily reconciliation of billable activity vs. collectable revenue, identifying gaps between operational events and financial records, and driving system and process improvements in collaboration with internal teams.

This is a high-impact role that combines financial control, data analysis, operational ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the integrity and scalability of Chargeflow’s revenue engine.

Billing to Cash Ownership

• Own the end-to-end Billing-to-Cash lifecycle, ensuring accurate conversion of billable activity into invoices and cash collection.
• Monitor and reconcile daily billable events vs. collectable revenue across systems and data sources.
• Ensure billing accuracy across all revenue streams, including disputes managed, success fees, and other chargeable services.
• Identify discrepancies between operational activity and financial records and drive resolution.
  
  

Revenue Reconciliation & Controls

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation between operational systems, billing systems, and financial records.
• Maintain controls ensuring that all bookable items are correctly converted into billable and collectable revenue.
• Investigate revenue leakage risks, billing gaps, or data inconsistencies.
• Ensure data integrity between product systems, billing platforms, and accounting systems.
  
  

Cross-Functional Revenue Operations

• Work closely with Product and Engineering to define billing logic, pricing implementation, and data flows.
• Partner with Customer Success and Operations to validate client billing events and dispute volumes.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure proper revenue recognition and financial reporting.
• Act as the owner of billing infrastructure and revenue flow design.
  
  

Process & System Development

• Design scalable billing reconciliation processes and dashboards.
• Build automated tools for revenue validation and anomaly detection.
• Improve internal processes related to revenue tracking, billing automation, and financial reporting.
• Provide leadership insights to improve revenue predictability and operational efficiency.
  
  

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Can do approach - Must!
• Experience in a similar role as a Revenue Controller, preferably in large-scale environments supporting SMB, Enterprise clients, and multiple business models – Must
• Strong understanding of Billing-to-Cash processes and revenue recognition principles - Must
• Experience working with data, AI tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and financial systems - Advantage
• CPA with a strong accounting and financial control background - Advantage
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and other operational teams - Advantage
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail

• Familiarity with Stripe, payment processors, and chargeback ecosystems
