Engineering Team Lead - Platform

Job Summary

As the Team Lead for Platform Engineering at Unframe, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the foundation of our AI platform. You’ll lead a team of Full Stack Engineers focused on building reusable AI services, scalable APIs, a dynamic UI engine, and shared infrastructure that powers every solution we deliver. We work on-site from our Tel Aviv office, collaborating closely across engineering, product, and AI to move fast and build with purpose.

This is a hands-on leadership role, you’ll guide architecture and execution while mentoring engineers and ensuring technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Drive the design and implementation of core AI building blocks, backend services, and frontend components.
• Own platform-wide features such as user management, multi-tenant abstractions, and solution dashboards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, AI, and Solutions teams to ensure the platform meets business and technical goals.
• Define and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and system architecture.
  
  

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.
• Background in AI/ML, LLMs, or prompt-based applications.
• Proven ability to design scalable APIs, services, and reusable UI components.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend frameworks (e.g. React, Node.js, Python, etc.).
• Experience building platforms or working in complex, multi-solution product environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  
  

• Experience with design systems, multi-tenant architecture, or enterprise-grade platforms.
• Familiarity with backend performance optimization, observability, and database design.
