Role Description

As a Finance and IT Manager in Israel, you will oversee both Finance and IT functions, with a primary focus on finance while increasingly leading IT initiatives.

You will be responsible for statutory and fiscal reporting, compliance, internal controls, and financial controlling, while driving process standardization and supporting the local team through transformation and change. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure smooth transitions and effective operations.

This role is part of Kantar’s Global Finance team, reporting to the Regional Financial Director, and plays a key role in bridging finance and IT to deliver operational excellence. Finance Function (in scope from Day 1):

Job Role Requirements

• Harmonise financial and administrative procedures, policies and processes across the Media division.
• Ensure an appropriate controls environment is in place and monitor and report compliance with it.
• Manage interactions with auditors and oversees audit compliance activities and statutory accounts sign-off
• Ensure monthly accounting and reporting is timely and accurate submitted to enable business stakeholders working to make decisions with full understanding of the financial impacts they will have
• Overseeing the financial operations of the company (payroll, billing, A/P, A/R, treasury)
• Managing month-end accounts and reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting

Required

• Experience in a Finance Manager / Finance Controlling / Management Accounting role
• Track record of delivering against set objectives within budget and timeline
• Hands-on mentality and can-do attitude
• Experience of working with regulatory bodies, managing statutory and regulatory compliance
• Experience of working collaboratively in a matrix environment
• High integrity and confidence
• Demonstrated technical expertise in financial management and accounting

IT Function (ideally in scope from Day 1, ‘training-on-the job’ also possible):

Job Role Requirements

• Oversee the daily operation of data systems to ensure timely delivery and meet service levels.
• Monitor automated processes, resolve issues, and rerun tasks when needed.
• Investigate data or system problems by checking system logs and running simple data checks.
• Coordinate with the central IT team on any issues that require escalation.
• Document actions taken and help implement longterm fixes.

Key Skills

• Good working knowledge of Linux-based systems and general system administration.
• Familiarity with common database environments and basic data querying.
• Understanding of APIs and data workflows.
• Advantageous: experience with cloud platforms, version control tools, workflow automation, and containerized environments.
• Experience with tools such as Python or statistical software.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Experience in a commercial data or production environment is a plus.
