Description

The New Product Introduction l Engineer will function as a key member of the Operations team that ensures an orderly transition from R&D to Operations. The NPI / Product Eng will be responsible for new product introduction, manufacture processes, product documentation, tech aspects, tooling, support test equipment and automation for both new and existing products. In addition, the engineer will support sustain manufacture products and activities.

Responsibilities:

• Support Operations in multi-disciplinary projects, component sourcing, and engineering documentation.
• Provide engineering support to Zutacore production lines & CMs .
• Lead and manage the introduction of new products ( NPI ) into manufacturing environments.
• Develop and execute project plans for NPI activities, ensuring alignment with product development timelines.
• Responsible for building and managing Product/Production file, Product documentation, BOM, jigs/tools/Fixtures design, DFX’s, production needs and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for conducting product ECO process including implementation and configuration control.
• Promote cost reduction and second source projects.
• Collaboration with other teams such Quality, Planning, Mechanical R&D, etc.

Qualifications

• Team player and highly motivated

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, a must.

• Minimum 5 years industry experience.

• Experience with CAD software, a must.

• Experience with Solidworks Enterprise PDM and Priority ERP, an advantage.

• Experience in manufacturing and/or multidisciplinary systems, an advantage.

• Good writing, reading, and verbal skills in English
