QA Automation (Mid/Senior)

At Prime Security, we are pioneering the integration of AI and cybersecurity to empower product security teams. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our AI-driven platform by designing and executing comprehensive test plans across backend systems, APIs, and integrations. Working closely with engineering and product teams, you’ll identify edge cases, automate testing workflows, and uphold the highest quality standards, enabling our AI to deliver accurate, actionable insights that drive secure and efficient development.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation using a JavaScript-based testing framework Playwright
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and technical implementation
• Build and enhance test infrastructure to support scalable and maintainable automated testing
• Identify, document, track, and ensure timely resolution of software defects and inconsistencies
• Ensure high test coverage for both frontend and backend services
• Contribute to the continuous integration (CI) pipeline and improve test efficiency and reliability
• Review and improve test results and processes with the team, helping to drive a strong quality culture.
  
  

• 4-5 years of experience in QA Automation roles
• Significant experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with a strong focus on Playwright
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript-based testing frameworks (such as Cypress, Playwright, Jest, etc.)
• Experience working in an AWS cloud environment and testing distributed systems
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, smoke, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Comfortable working in a Linux-based environment
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
  

• Experience testing microservices or APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Knowledge of Docker or containerized environments
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and test reporting dashboards
