About the role:

We are looking for a Monitoring & Control Team Lead to manage a team of two engineers responsible for the organization’s monitoring and control systems across all IT infrastructures, including servers, storage, systems, and applications in both cloud and on-prem environments.

• Manage the team and take operational responsibility for monitoring systems (MOM / Splunk / SCOM, etc.)

• Design and implement new monitoring solutions and ensure monitoring quality (continuous alert tuning, threshold definition, and stakeholder alignment), while closely supporting the NOC team

• Lead POCs for new systems and proactively research and implement advanced tools to enhance monitoring capabilities, with a focus on discovery and APM tools

• The role includes approximately 30% team and project management and 70% hands-on work

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience managing a Monitoring & Control (NOC/Operations) team

• Experience with monitoring platforms such as OBM, BMC TrueSight, Tivoli, or similar

• Hands-on experience with advanced monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, Cacti, etc.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure: Windows/Linux, storage, firewalls, virtualization, Azure, AWS, etc.

• Proven leadership skills: ability to manage tasks under pressure, strong interpersonal communication, and mentoring capabilities

• Experience in monitoring cloud services (IaaS and PaaS)
