Application Security Analyst

We are looking for a security-oriented professional to join our team as an Application Security Analyst, working directly under the Security Lead and taking ownership of the application security domain.

This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and driving remediation of application security risks throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and prioritize application security findings from tools such as SAST and SCA (e.g., SonarQube, JFrog Xray)
• Validate true positives and reduce false positives
• Research CVEs, vulnerabilities, and available patches
• Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, and Security teams to drive remediation
• Track remediation timelines and verify proper closure
• Maintain ongoing visibility over risk status and overall security posture

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, NOC, or IT roles with a strong security orientation
• Solid understanding of vulnerabilities and fundamental application security concepts
• Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally
• Coding experience is not required (basic scripting knowledge is an advantage)
• No on-call requirement
