Mechanical Design Engineer

A global technology leader specializes in the measurement and imaging of electromagnetic waves, providing high-precision solutions for antenna characterization, wireless connectivity testing, and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).

The company’s advanced systems are integrated into mission-critical applications across the defense, aerospace, medical, and telecommunications industries.

With a strong international presence, the organization designs and deploys complex multidisciplinary platforms that enable the next generation of wireless and satellite communication.

The company is located in Central-Northern Israel (strategic industrial zone) and operates a hybrid work model with one day remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Multidisciplinary Design: Leading the mechanical design and development of sophisticated electro-mechanical systems, focusing on precision, stability, and environmental resilience.
• Global Project Lifecycle: Managing the end-to-end mechanical engineering process, from initial conceptual design to production and global site integration.
• International Client Engagement: Collaborating directly with strategic global customers, requiring periodic international travel (1–2 trips per quarter) for system deployment and technical consultation.
• CAD & Lifecycle Management: Utilizing SolidWorks and PDM systems to create complex assemblies, detailed drawings, and maintain rigorous engineering documentation.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Partnering with Electrical, RF, and Systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of electromagnetic sensors and mechanical positioning hardware.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
• Proven track record in Multidisciplinary companies specializing in electro-mechanics – Mandatory.
• Deep proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM environments – Mandatory.
• High-level English (written and verbal) for collaboration with global teams and clients – Mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex mechanical projects within a high-precision hardware environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role’s global service and integration scope.
