Full Stack Engineer

An established Israeli Travel Tech company develops a modern, self-service platform designed for the global vacation market.

The organization is currently experiencing rapid international expansion and significant commercial success, driven by a high-scale digital solution for the modern traveler.

The engineering culture is centered on production stability at scale, rapid execution, and the integration of advanced AI technologies to enhance the user journey.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime district with excellent accessibility) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Technical Leadership: Leading complex cross-functional initiatives and driving significant architectural evolution across the R&D organization.
• Full Stack Engineering: Developing high-performance web applications using Node.js and React, with a focus on Next.js for optimized delivery.
• Microservices Architecture: Designing, building, and operating distributed systems within a high-traffic production environment.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Taking ownership of the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of production-grade cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• AI Integration: Implementing modern AI development tools and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Production Excellence: Ensuring system reliability, performance, and stability post-deployment for a global user base.

Requirements:

• 8 years of professional experience in Full Stack Development – Mandatory.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and React (Next.js experience is a significant advantage) – Mandatory.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and driving organizational-wide technical shifts – Mandatory.
• Extensive experience with Microservices in high-scale production – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud-native infrastructure (AWS or GCP) – Mandatory.
• Strong background in CI/CD, TDD, and modern DevOps practices.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
