HISKY provides secure satellite communication and control for small, long range, manned and unmanned platforms. Founded in 2015, HISKY’s founders, all veterans of the defense, intelligence, and communications sectors, understood that connection equals control of missions, data, and safety. With that in mind, started the development of HISKY’s flexible, low SWaP system, for on-the-move satellite communication solutions for air, land and sea.
About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Director who can bring significant orders in Israel and/or abroad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the defence industry, ideally with proven experience selling to leading defence companies such as Rafael, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), RTX, Lockheed Martin, Rheinmetal or similar organizations, and/or directly to the IDF and or MoDs globally.
This role focuses on leading sales activities and bringing orders for the company’s satellite communication solutions designed for military platforms, which are developed and delivered in close collaboration with defence integrators and prime contractors. The role requires the ability to translate complex technical, operational, and market information into a clear, disciplined sales work plan, while operating in environments of long sales cycles, high uncertainty, and strict regulatory and security constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- To close significant multi-million dollar orders
- Lead sales activities for satellite communication solutions integrated into military platforms (land, air, and maritime)
- Work closely with defence integrators and prime contractors responsible for platform development and delivery
- Collect and analyse customer, market, and program-level data to build realistic, executable sales plans
- Manage complex, long-term sales processes aligned with defence procurement frameworks
- Assess and manage commercial, operational, and program risks throughout the sales cycle
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with IDF, IMOD/MoD, and defence integrator stakeholders
- Lead proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and negotiations in coordination with engineering, product, and delivery teams
- Maintain accurate, data-driven forecasting and reporting
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in the Israeli or international defence industry
- Proven experience working with defence integrators / prime contractors such as Elbit, Rafael, IAI, RX, LM or equivalent or IMoD or international MoD defence organizations
- Strong understanding of defence procurement, program structures, and compliance requirements
- Fluent Hebrew and English
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, if required
