A growing company in the field of data centers needs a NOC technician to work in a server farm.
Work in shifts in a modern technological work environment.
Job Description:
- Responsibility for monitoring and operating critical computing systems, communications and infrastructures in the Data Center facility:
- Ongoing monitoring of IT systems and infrastructure
- Identifying faults in real time and escalating relevant factors
- Operating monitoring and BMS systems
- Working with electrical, air conditioning, communications and system teams
- Documenting events and working according to procedures in a critical environment 24/7
Required:
- Experience in operating monitoring systems
- Previous experience in a technical call center / NOC / military command center
- Willingness to work in shifts 24/7
Advantage:
- Experience in operating a BMS system
- Technical background in IT and communication networks (TCP / IP, LAN / WAN)
- Basic familiarity with Windows / Linux operating systems
- Experience in a Data Center environment
