Corporate Controller

Corporate Controller – Biotech Company (Publicly traded in the Nasdaq)

We are looking for a Corporate Controller to join our team, who will be reporting directly to the company's CFO.

Responsibilities

• Managing the accounting and bookkeeping department
• Manage the preparation and review of all quarterly and annual disclosures and supporting schedules of the Company’s financial reporting requirements in 20-F and 6-K
• Be in-charge of all accounting operations as a key stakeholder in the Order-to-Cash cycle
• Partner with FP&A and drive cash flow forecasting and analysis and budget vs. actual analysis
• Responsibility for all closing processes
• Responsibility for hedging and investment activities
• Responsibility for options and equity based compensation
• Support fundraising processes
• Participate in review of contracts for accounting issues and provide accurate accounting guidance on ad hoc basis
• Provide support and guidance to different stakeholders and teams within the company
• Be in charge of the company's payment schedule (vendors, payroll)
• Evaluate new US GAAP requirements and implement the necessary ones, including designing the process and the systems involved
• Become the company's liaison to auditors and consultants (both internal and external)
• Overall tax responsibilities
• Manage subsidiary reporting
• Own SOX and internal controls within the company to ensure appropriate accounting treatment under US GAAP
• Provide technical accounting advice for special projects and assess their impact on the company’s financial results
• Work with internal partners on initiatives to improve the organization including new processes, procedures, work flows and system enhancements

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting/financial reporting experience after internship
• Big 4 experience – a must
• CPA with knowledge and strong capabilities of US GAAP and SEC guidelines
• English at a very high level of proficiency – Must
• Strong interpersonal and both written and spoken communication skills
• High level of independence and self-examination
• Excellent skills with Excel and ERP systems
