Full Stack Team Leader

An established Israeli EdTech company develops and delivers interactive digital learning content including video, gamified assessments, and adaptive reading materials to schools and students worldwide. Role Overview:

• Technical Leadership: Managing a specialized team of 3–4 developers while maintaining a significant hands-on (60–70%) contribution to the codebase.
• AI Implementation: Leading the integration of AI and LLM solutions into production, specifically focusing on automated content generation and creative workflows.
• Backend Architecture: Designing and scaling robust backend systems using PHP and Laravel (experience in these specific frameworks is not mandatory for highly skilled leads).
• AI Strategy: Applying advanced concepts such as Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, and AI Observability to enhance the platform’s intelligence.
• Mentorship & Growth: Promoting engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural guidance, and professional development of team members.
• Scalable Systems: Taking ownership of production-level architectures to ensure the platform supports millions of global users reliably.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in Software Development – Mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience in a Technical Leadership role (Team Lead, Tech Lead, or equivalent) – Mandatory.
• Proven hands-on experience deploying AI/LLM solutions in Production – Mandatory.
• Deep familiarity with AI concepts: Prompt Engineering, model evaluation, RAG architectures, or AI Observability – Mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining scalable production systems.
