Postdoctoral Position | Psychotherapy & Psychiatry Research Lab

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team on a project investigating the links between inflammation and mental disorders from an epidemiological perspective (see: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0889159126000395).

This exciting project aims to identify immune-related mechanisms underlying mental disorders to inform personalized prevention and intervention strategies. The study is conducted within an international research collaboration involving esteemed researchers from Belgium, Norway and Italy. 

Qualifications:

• Strong statistical skills and experience with survival analyses using SPSS, Python, SAS or R.
• PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Psychology, Biology, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• High motivation, independence, and ability to work collaboratively and with international collaborators.

The project will be overseen by Prof. Dana Tzur Bitan, the Department of Community Mental Health, University of Haifa. The lab is situated at Shalvata Mental Health Center, Hod Hasharon. Hybrid options are also available.
