AI & Automation Lead

The AI & Automation Lead role focuses on driving the adoption, implementation, and governance of AI technologies across the organization.

This is not a technical development role and does not involve building models or writing code, which are owned by the CTO and engineering teams.

Organizations today are undergoing a rapid technological transformation, where AI and automation are fundamentally reshaping how work is done, decisions are made, and value is created. The challenge is no longer awareness of these tools, but the ability to implement them in a structured, secure, and scalable way. This role is responsible for turning AI into a managed, organization-wide capability that improves productivity, streamlines processes, reduces manual work, and creates measurable business impact.

Role Description

• Lead the organizational AI strategy, identifying high-impact opportunities and prioritizing initiatives based on business value
• Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities
• Define and execute a roadmap for AI and automation implementation aligned with business goals
• Select and implement AI tools and platforms, integrating them into existing systems and processes
• Design and optimize AI-driven workflows to replace manual, repetitive, or complex tasks
• Establish organizational standards, policies, and best practices for safe and responsible AI usage
• Ensure data privacy, information security, and proper governance in AI adoption
• Build and manage organizational knowledge, including playbooks, guidelines, and training materials
• Lead training and enablement efforts to increase adoption and effective use of AI tools across teams
• Drive cultural change by embedding a “Human + AI” way of working into daily operations
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to redesign processes and maximize impact

Requirements:

Professional Experience

• Proven experience leading the implementation of technological systems or process improvements
• Experience managing cross-functional projects or leading organizational change initiatives
• Strong familiarity with AI tools, including Generative AI (GenAI)
• Experience working with automation tools and workflow solutions

Technical Understanding

• Basic understanding of system integrations and digital workflows
• Familiarity with automation platforms and modern workplace tools
• Understanding of AI trends and GenAI capabilities in a business context

Business Skills

• Strong systems thinking and ability to analyze complex organizational processes
• Ability to identify opportunities for efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization
• Ability to translate technological capabilities into practical business solutions

Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
