Hands-On Engineering Lead

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location with convenient access) and operates a hybrid work model with one to two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Systems Architecture: Leading the architectural design across hardware, software, and algorithmic layers for next-generation unmanned platforms.
• Hands-on Integration: Executing the practical development and integration of UAV sensors, communication interfaces, and control systems.
• Multidisciplinary Engineering: Bridging the gap between embedded software and physical hardware components, including processors and electro-optic sensors.
• Autonomous Systems Strategy: Providing system-level insights for robotic and autonomous platforms to ensure mission reliability and performance.
• Leadership Path: Serving as a technical authority with the clear potential and intent to transition into an engineering management role as the team expands.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Multidisciplinary Engineering roles – Mandatory.
• Proven track record in Software Development for UAV platforms or sensor-based systems – Mandatory.
• Strong technical background in both Hardware and Software integration – Mandatory.
• Expertise in Embedded Systems, including processors, sensors, and communication protocols – Mandatory.
• Deep system-level understanding of UAVs, autonomous systems, or robotics – Mandatory.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and a strong interest in engineering management.
