Computer Vision Engineer

An Israeli engineering firm, operating as part of a prominent global technology group, specializes in unmanned systems and electro-optics.

By developing sophisticated UAV platforms and sensor-based control systems, the company provides mission-critical solutions for autonomous and robotic environments.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location with convenient access) and operates a hybrid work model with one to two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Algorithm Development: Designing and implementing advanced Computer Vision and image processing algorithms for real-time UAV applications.
• Object Intelligence: Developing robust pipelines for detection, recognition, and tracking of objects across complex environments.
• Multisensor Integration: Working with EO/IR sensors and multi-sensor arrays to enhance situational awareness and autonomous navigation.
• Edge Deployment: Deploying and optimizing algorithms on embedded platforms and edge devices, ensuring high performance under hardware constraints.
• Model Optimization: Utilizing deep learning frameworks to build and refine models, focusing on efficiency and real-world engineering reliability.
• Systems Thinking: Providing high-level system engineering insights to bridge the gap between algorithmic theory and practical hardware implementation.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Algorithm Development and Computer Vision – Mandatory.
• Strong technical background in Image and Video processing – Mandatory.
• Proven experience with Object Detection and Tracking pipelines – Mandatory.
• Expertise in Python and C++ – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Deep Learning frameworks and model optimization – Mandatory.
• Familiarity with EO/IR sensors and multi-sensor systems.
• Experience deploying algorithms on embedded or edge platforms.
• Demonstrated system-level thinking and practical engineering problem-solving skills.
