Senior Software Engineer in Test - Automation

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to ensure the resilience and excellence of our enterprise-grade security solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between automated and manual testing, designing sophisticated tools and frameworks to verify performance at scale. You will lead deep-dive exploratory testing initiatives, own the test infrastructure, and provide actionable quality insights to the R&D and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Mastery: Act as a subject matter expert for the product portfolio, verifying the functionality, operability, and performance of complex security solutions.
• Automation Engineering: Lead the design and development of end-to-end test automation frameworks and automated test suites.
• Impact & Strategy: Assess the effectiveness of quality initiatives (automation, manual testing, bug bounties) and drive continuous improvements.
• Risk Identification: Lead exploratory and performance testing efforts to identify and mitigate risks in areas not yet covered by automation.
• Leadership: Drive testing initiatives with minimal guidance, acting as a quality advocate across the engineering department.
• Team Excellence: Mentor other SETs and engineers, fostering a culture of "breaking things to make them better."

What You’ll Need

• Experience: 5+ years of software testing experience, with a strong balance between manual practices and automation development.
• Product Background: Proven experience testing large-scale Enterprise/SaaS products.
• Technical Stack: Deep experience with Cypress and building automated test suites using Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
• Data Proficiency: A solid grasp of SQL and database testing.
• SDLC Knowledge: Full exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle—from requirements analysis and estimation to unit testing and quality control.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
