Through Social Emotional Learning programs in schools, trauma support initiatives, and therapeutic services in communities affected by conflict, Kav L’Noar reaches tens of thousands of individuals each year.

As demand for mental health services continues to grow, the organization is entering an important phase of expansion focused on strengthening philanthropic partnerships, increasing national visibility, and scaling its impact.

The Opportunity

Kav L’Noar is seeking a growth-oriented Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization’s next phase of development.

This CEO will serve as the organization’s primary storyteller, fundraiser, and ambassador, expanding philanthropic support, strengthening strategic partnerships, and elevating Kav L’Noar’s presence in Israel and internationally.

With a strong operational infrastructure led by an experienced Chief Operating Officer, the CEO will focus primarily on fundraising leadership, external relationships, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Philanthropic Leadership

• Cultivate and secure major gifts from individual donors, foundations, and institutional partners

• Expand relationships with high-net-worth individuals and philanthropic networks in Israel and internationally

• Develop and lead a multi-year fundraising growth strategy

• Engage and activate board members in fundraising efforts

Organizational Storytelling & Public Leadership

• Serve as the primary public voice of Kav L’Noar

• Communicate the organization’s mission and impact through compelling storytelling

• Represent Kav L’Noar at donor meetings, conferences, and public forums

• Strengthen the organization’s visibility and reputation

Strategic Partnerships & Institutional Growth

• Build partnerships with foundations, NGOs, government agencies, and healthcare organizations

• Develop relationships with Kupot Cholim and other key institutional stakeholders

• Identify opportunities for growth aligned with organizational capacity and mission

Executive Leadership

• Set strategic priorities in partnership with the Board of Directors and senior leadership

• Work closely with the COO to ensure alignment between fundraising growth and operational capacity

• Provide high-level leadership to the organization while empowering the operational team

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, relationship-driven leader with a strong track record in philanthropy and public leadership.

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Proven success securing major philanthropic gifts

• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities

• Fluency in Hebrew and English

• Deep familiarity with Israeli and international philanthropy

• Executive presence and credibility with senior donors and partners

• Strategic leadership skills and the ability to inspire stakeholders around a shared mission

Location

Jerusalem, Israel

Regular travel within Israel and internationally for fundraising and partnership development.
