We are looking for an experienced System Team Lead to manage and lead our IT infrastructure team. This role combines both hands-on technical expertise and leadership responsibilities, overseeing the organization’s core infrastructure including servers, virtualization, and critical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of experienced system administrators (both professionally and personally).
- Take full ownership of the design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of server infrastructures (Windows & Linux).
- Manage complex virtualization environments based on VMware (vSphere, vCenter).
- Oversee the organization’s Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Lead cross-organizational infrastructure projects from initiation to deployment.
- Ensure infrastructure security and handle cybersecurity challenges.
- Write procedures, technical documentation, and work plans.
Requirements:
- Relevant academic background – mandatory.
- At least 8 years of experience as a System Administrator in a large enterprise environment – mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience managing a system team – mandatory.
- Strong expertise in VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter) – mandatory.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure and DevOps methodologies – mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux – advantage.
- Experience with enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC) – advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud environments – advantage.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) – advantage.
- Proven ability to lead projects, strong system-level thinking, and advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
