Head of Project Management

At Sheba Medical Center, we are establishing a new transformation engine – the Future Medicine Center – designed to lead large-scale, system-wide change and redefine the future of healthcare delivery.

This center will shape and implement innovative care and management models, translating strategic vision into impactful, day-to-day execution that improves patient outcomes, clinician experience, and organizational performance.

We are looking for a Head of Project Management to lead the center’s project portfolio and drive the successful execution of transformation initiatives — from strategic planning through pilots, implementation, and large-scale rollout.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic transformation projects across the organization
• Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, establishing a unified delivery methodology and structured work processes
• Translate strategy into actionable execution plans, including milestones, KPIs, and resource allocation
• Drive end-to-end implementation of transformation initiatives — from design and pilot phases to full organizational rollout
• Monitor progress, budgets, timelines, and impact metrics to ensure high-quality, measurable, and sustainable outcomes
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, clinical teams, and technology stakeholders to align priorities and remove execution barriers

Requierments:

• Bachelor’s degree – required
• 5+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs in large, matrix organizations
• Proven experience managing Project Managers or delivery teams
• Strong track record in leading large-scale implementation initiatives (not just planning)
• Experience working with senior leadership and managing multiple stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment in complex environments
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities
• High level of organization, structure, and methodological work approach
• Ability to translate strategy into clear, executable work plans
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of ownership, independence, and decision-making under uncertainty
