HVAC Mechanical Engineer | Documentation Specialist

Location: In-office, Har Tuv - Full-time

Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Israel Hours) 

Fluent English Required

Ephoca is seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our team, specializing in HVAC products and systems. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise and methodical documentation to effectively communicate the value of our products to clients and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within the HVAC industry, paired with a strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and solutions.

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying errors in our technical documentation, helping the company expand our product data and cut sheets with quality information, assisting clients to assess their engineering and documentation needs, while providing tailored HVAC solutions. You will work closely with both the sales and technical teams to ensure smooth integration of product offerings and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background and understanding of HVAC products, systems, and solutions - Must
• English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) - Must
• Hands-on experience working with product data sheets, IOMs, Submittals.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
• Work with AutoCAD creating technical illustrations such as dimensions and wiring diagrams
• Working previously in HVAC role a big plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
• Proficiency with CRM software and project management tools.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Becoming an Ephoca product expert 
• Constantly review and maintain documentation (PDF + Web authoring tool) such as Product Data Sheets, Installation & Operating manuals, Submittals, etc.) 
• Work with our Italian manufacturing facility to get missing data
• Answer emails from reps asking questions that are not in our knowledge base documentation
