Epilady develops advanced laser-based medical imaging systems operating under strict real-time constraints.

We are looking for a hands-on senior embedded engineer who will also function as a system engineer, taking ownership of the real-time core of our platform and working across hardware, software and imaging subsystems.

The role includes development of low-level embedded software on MCUs, camera and sensor integration, hardware driver development, and system optimization under tight CPU, RAM and latency constraints.

You will work closely with electronics, optics and algorithm teams on hardware-software co-design, system architecture and board bring-up.

Requirements

• 10+ years embedded systems development

• Strong C programming for real-time systems

• Experience with MCUs (ARM or similar)

• Bare-metal and/or RTOS environments

• Hardware driver development and board bring-up

• Camera or sensor integration

• System-level thinking and experience working as a system engineer

Position reports directly to the Head of R&D.

אנו מחפשים מהנדס/ת Embedded בכיר/ה, Hands-on, אשר יתפקד/תתפקד גם כמהנדס/ת מערכת, וייקח/תקח בעלות על ליבת מערכת הזמן-אמת של הפלטפורמה שלנו תוך עבודה חוצת תחומים בין חומרה, תוכנה ומערכות הדמיה.

התפקיד כולל פיתוח תוכנה Embedded ברמת Low-Level על גבי MCUs, אינטגרציה של מצלמות וחיישנים, פיתוח דרייברים לרכיבי חומרה, ואופטימיזציה של המערכת תחת מגבלות CPU, זיכרון ו-Latency.

העבודה מתבצעת בשיתוף פעולה צמוד עם צוותי האלקטרוניקה, האופטיקה והאלגוריתמיקה וכוללת תכנון מערכת, תכנון משותף של חומרה ותוכנה (Hardware-Software Co-Design) ו-Bring-up של כרטיסים אלקטרוניים.

• ניסיון של 10+ שנים בפיתוח מערכות Embedded

• שליטה גבוהה בכתיבת C למערכות זמן אמת

• ניסיון בעבודה עם MCUs (ARM או דומה)

• ניסיון בעבודה בסביבות Bare-Metal ו/או RTOS

• ניסיון בפיתוח Drivers לרכיבי חומרה וב-Board Bring-up

• חשיבה מערכתית וניסיון בעבודה כמהנדס מערכת

התפקיד כפוף ישירות למנהל הפיתוח.
