Bitsight is a cybersecurity ratings company, providing objective, verifiable, and actionable security performance data. Bitsight's CTI, formerly Cybersixgill, continuously collects and exposes the earliest possible indications of risk produced by threat actors moments after they surface on the clear, deep, and dark web. This data is processed, correlated, and enriched with machine learning techniques to create profiles and patterns of threat actors and their peer networks, delivering critical insight into the nature, source, and context of each threat.

Bitsight's extensive threat intelligence data is consumed through various solution offerings and integrations, each addressing critical customer pain points and use cases. These solutions are scalable, searchable, and seamlessly integrated into existing security stacks, arming teams with critical insights to proactively block threats before they materialize into attacks.

Job Description

The Bitsight CTI collection team is at the forefront of gathering intelligence from the most challenging corners of the web, with unmatched coverage and agility. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the data collectors, pipelines and microservices that power our threat intelligence platform, enabling seamless access to our unique data.

As a key member of our team, you will tackle complex challenges in data acquisition, processing, and delivery. You will contribute to the improvement and scalability of our collection and ingestion mechanisms, as well as design and implement robust data pipelines and microservices that expose our intelligence to other parts of Bitsight and our customers. This role offers a significant opportunity to impact Bitsight's leading position in the cyber threat intelligence landscape. Our technical stack is broad and flexible, including leading technologies such as Python, Elastic stack, K8s, Docker, Kafka, MongoDB, ArangoDB and more.

Requirements

• BSc or higher degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 3+ years of proven experience in backend development
• Solid experience in coding with languages such as Python
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and hardworking
• Fast learner with a passion for technology
• A collaborative team player
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
