Clinical Data Operators - Student position

We are seeking Clinical Data Operators to support the execution of our clinical research studies. This is a hands-on, shift-based role working directly with study participants in a controlled lab environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality data collection while providing a respectful, professional, and supportive experience for participants.

In this position you will:

• Work in shifts as part of the clinical research operations team
• Welcome and onboard participants with mental health conditions arriving for clinical studies
• Run clinical research sessions according to established protocols
• Guide participants through the study process with clear and empathetic explanations
• Perform data collection and system calibration procedures
• Monitor study progress and ensure protocol adherence
• Maintain accurate documentation and data records
• Ensure participants’ comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the study
• Coordinate participant compensation at the end of each session
• Collaborate closely with clinical coordination and data operations teams
• Work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced startup environment

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have at least 2 years remaining in academic studies
• Studying Psychology (with a therapeutic orientation), Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
• Have a strong interest in clinical research and working with people
• Preferably have experience working with patients or participants in clinical, research, or therapeutic settings (e.g., treatment frameworks, supported housing, national service, military experience, or research labs)
• Be comfortable working with individuals facing mental health challenges
• Have high emotional intelligence, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
• Be reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Be able to follow protocols while remaining attentive and human
• Multitasking;: Ability to produce results under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Be comfortable operating in a technical environment and following detailed protocols
• Take ownership and get things done
