Director of Project Management – 5G & Next-Gen SoC

The Challenge: Orchestrating Innovation

We are looking for a high-caliber Director of Project Management to lead our most ambitious 5G mobile and sensing (Radar/Lidar) projects. A strategic leadership position that sits at the intersection of Hardware, Software, Algorithms, and Architecture.

In an environment where the technical leads are industry experts and the stakes are high-performance silicon, you will be the "glue" and the "driver." You will manage a complex matrix, navigating between brilliant technical minds to ensure our next-gen SoC hits the market with precision.

What You’ll Do:

• Master the Matrix: Lead cross-functional teams (HW Design, Verification, SW, and Algo) in a high-stakes, multi-site global environment. You’ll need to influence without formal authority, turning technical constraints into actionable roadmaps.
• Full Lifecycle Ownership: From initial architecture and NPI (New Product Introduction) to Tape-out and post-silicon, you will own the delivery of 5G modems and DSP subsystems.
• Strategic Problem Solving: You aren't just identifying risks; you are resolving them. You’ll be the diplomat when technical egos clash and the "bulldozer" when milestones are at risk.
• Bridge the Gap: Translate deep VLSI/System complexities into a clear project status for executive leadership and global stakeholders.

Who You Are:

• A Technical Veteran: At least 10 years of experience in SoC development. You understand the "flow" (RTL to GDSII, FW integration, Verification cycles) at an application level.
• A Proven Leader: You’ve successfully managed complex HW/SW projects with teams of 20+ engineers. You know how to lead people who don't report to you.
• Communication Pro: You possess the "soft skills" of a diplomat but the backbone of a closer. You can hold your own in a room full of PhDs and lead them to a decision.
• Resilient & Proactive: You thrive in ambiguity. When a bottleneck appears in the Algo-to-HW handoff, you’re already there with a solution.

Requirements:

• B.Sc./M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from a leading university.
• Deep understanding of SoC product lifecycles and VLSI development milestones.
• Experience in Matrix Management within a global organization.
• Advantage: Hands-on experience with 4G/5G-NR protocols or high-performance DSPs.
• Advantage: Background in Automotive (Radar/Lidar) or high-end Networking SoC.
