Location: Haifa, Israel

Zimark is looking for a brilliant and experienced Software & Computer Vision Team Lead to spearhead our development efforts. In this pivotal role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, bridging the gap between robust software engineering, scalable cloud architecture, and cutting-edge vision algorithms.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of vision-based tools, high-performance camera-to-cloud image processing, and real-time video analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software and algorithm developers. Define technical roadmaps, manage agile sprints, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
• System & Cloud Architecture: Architect and design scalable, distributed software systems and cloud-based infrastructures (AWS/Azure/GCP) to support high-volume data processing.
• Vision & Algorithms: Oversee the development of computer vision tools, focusing on Image Segmentation, Classification, and real-time Video Processing.
• End-to-End Pipeline Design: Design and implement robust, secure pipelines for seamless image processing—from edge camera sources to cloud-based storage and analytics.
• Hands-on Excellence: Lead by example with high-quality coding (Python/C++), conducting code reviews and tackling complex architectural and algorithmic challenges.

Requirements

• Managerial Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience leading a development team (Team Lead / Tech Lead).
• Software & Architecture: Strong background in software engineering, with proven experience in designing complex system architectures and cloud-native applications.
• Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud environments, microservices, and deploying scalable vision-based solutions in the cloud.
• Algorithmic Background: Strong professional background in Computer Vision and Image Processing.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Segmentation, Classification, and Video Processing.
• Coding Skills: Solid experience in Python and/or C++ and building scalable software tools.
• Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. M.Sc./Ph.D. – a significant advantage.
• Problem Solver: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
