They are looking for Product Engineers to join their backend platform team. This team builds the foundation that powers the entire product and future features.

Salary Range

$125,000 - $142,000 USD per year

The Challenge You'll Tackle

• Design and build a data pipeline at massive scale. The core platform is expanding rapidly. You will help build highly scalable and resilient backend services in Go that ingest, process, and query massive amounts of telemetry data with high reliability.
• Solve complex data engineering problems. The team continuously works on challenges such as efficiently storing and querying terabytes of data in ClickHouse and optimizing data pipelines for both cost and performance.
• Architect for the future. As new features are introduced, you will design the backend architecture that enables fast product innovation. This includes building robust microservices, intelligent data routing, and integrations with new data sources.

What Success Looks Like (and How You'll Get There)

• Within 3 months, you will ship meaningful improvements to the core ingestion or data processing pipeline that improve platform performance and reliability.
• Within 6 months, you will become a key expert in important backend systems, mentor other engineers, and help solve major scaling challenges.
• Within 12 months, you will help evolve the backend architecture to support the next generation of platform capabilities.

• Has extensive experience building and scaling distributed backend systems in Go.
• Is deeply familiar with high performance columnar databases such as ClickHouse.
• Enjoys designing clean and reliable REST APIs and understands the realities of distributed systems.
• Has strong experience building and optimizing large scale data pipelines.
• Thrives in fast moving startup environments where engineers have strong ownership and impact.
