The Role:

We are looking for a Systems Engineer & Technical Project Manager to lead the system-level architecture, integration, technical execution, and field support of advanced unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) platforms. This role connects mechanical, electrical, embedded, software, autonomy, and operational teams, ensuring complex subsystems come together into a reliable, field-ready product. A key part of the role is ownership of communication architecture and RF-related system performance, including integration of radios, data links, antennas, remote control systems, and communication stability in demanding operational environments. The role also includes supporting deployed systems, analyzing faults, identifying root causes, and driving corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define system architecture across vehicle, power, communication, RF, control, sensing, autonomy, and payload layers.
• Lead integration of mechanical, electrical, embedded, software, communication, and RF subsystems.
• Manage interfaces between vehicle platform, control stations, radios, antennas, sensors, communication systems, and mission payloads.
• Develop and maintain system design documents, interface documents, integration plans, validation plans, and test procedures.
• Lead system verification, troubleshooting, and field integration activities.
• Support deployed systems in the field, investigate failures, identify root causes, and lead technical corrective actions with relevant engineering teams.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in robotics, defense systems, autonomous vehicles, RF systems, automotive systems, or heavy-duty platforms.
• Strong experience with communication architectures such as CAN, Ethernet, and remote control systems.
• Strong understanding of RF systems, tactical radios, antennas, teleoperation links, data links, and communication performance in challenging environments.
• Experience with battery systems, BMS, charging systems, alternators, and power distribution.
• Background in embedded systems integration, control units, and remote control systems.
• Experience integrating sensors, payloads, communication systems, RF subsystems, and autonomy modules.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability in multidisciplinary systems.
