Machine Learning Engineer

An Israeli data-tech company develops sophisticated AI and predictive algorithms that enable mobile application owners to reach their most relevant audiences through real-time interest forecasting and massive-scale data analysis.

A lean organization of 75 professionals drives a high-impact environment where data is processed at an immense scale to facilitate autonomous decision-making.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Technical Leadership: Serving as the technical authority for the ML Engineering team, bridging the gap between Data Science research and scalable production engineering.
• End-to-End ML Infrastructure: Supporting all technical aspects of the research lifecycle, including dataset creation, model training, and fine-tuning.
• Production & Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the deployment, versioning, and full lifecycle management of models, including advanced rollout strategies and automated testing.
• System Observability: Building and maintaining robust monitoring, alerting, and performance-tracking dashboards to ensure model health in production.
• Distributed Computing: Architecting and scaling high-performance infrastructures using distributed training and MPP frameworks to handle massive data volumes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering – Mandatory.
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in Machine Learning Engineering – Mandatory.
• Expertise in Python development – Mandatory.
• Proven experience with Spark or Flink for large-scale data processing – Mandatory.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, and production observability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor engineering teams.
