Mobile Engineer

An Israeli-founded IoT technology startup develops a platform designed to enhance the interaction between hardware manufacturers and their customers.

By utilizing data-driven behavioral insights, the technology automates consumer communication to streamline onboarding and improve overall user satisfaction.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near the light rail) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• End-to-End Development: Joining a specialized mobile team to build and scale applications from scratch, including greenfield projects and architectural design.
• Multi-Platform Engineering: Developing natively across both iOS and Android environments to ensure seamless cross-device performance.
• Architecture & Design: Defining core mobile architectures and implementing best practices for UI design, patterns, and system internals.
• Client-Server Integration: Architecting robust communication layers between mobile clients and complex backend services.
• Release Management: Overseeing the full application lifecycle, from initial planning to App Store and Google Play deployment.

Requirements:

• 4 years of hands-on experience in Mobile Development (Primary platform: Kotlin/Java for Android or Swift/Objective-C for iOS) – Mandatory.
• 1 years of experience with the secondary mobile platform (e.g., if primary is iOS, secondary must be Android, or vice versa) – Mandatory.
• Proven track record in building applications from scratch, including architectural planning – Mandatory.
• Deep knowledge of Client-Server architecture and mobile-specific design patterns – Mandatory.
• Practical experience with the release processes for both Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and performance optimization.
