Security Researcher

A premier, high-growth Cybersecurity leader is seeking a skilled Security Professional to join its established security research and testing group.

The company, which employs hundreds of professionals globally, is a dominant force in the industry, developing mission-critical security solutions for enterprise-grade environments.

This role is highly collaborative, working at the intersection of offensive security and product development to ensure the highest standards of protection for the company’s core platforms.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates a hybrid work model with three days in-office.

Role Overview:

• Security Design & Planning: Partnering closely with R&D teams to perform security design reviews and planning before the development of new features and products.
• Advanced Application PT: Conducting deep-dive Web Application Penetration Testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure robust defense mechanisms.
• Offensive Research: Investigating and researching security vulnerabilities within third-party packages and dependencies integrated into the company’s ecosystem.
• Automation & Scripting: Developing custom scripts and tools to automate security testing processes and vulnerability discovery.
• Protocol Analysis: Working extensively with diverse communication protocols to identify potential security flaws in data transmission and system interactions.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in Application Penetration Testing (PT) – Mandatory.
• Deep understanding of Web-based vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and mitigation strategies.
• Proven ability to collaborate with development teams to provide actionable security insights.
• Strong technical literacy in networking and communication protocols.
