Cyber Security Specialist

We are recruiting a Cyber Security Specialist for a government organization located in central Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Work with cyber defense systems in computing and cloud environments
• Evaluate and define security technologies and products and implement them within the organization’s infrastructure
• Integrate protection solutions into computing infrastructures, storage systems, backup systems, and disaster recovery environments
• Write hardening and protection documents for operating systems, databases, networks, and applications
• Define methodologies and processes for cyber risk management
• Define requirements for protection solutions and analyze vendor responses
• Research and map advanced cyber security technologies
• Lead projects with government entities, industry partners, and academia
• Promote innovation in the field of cyber defense

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in information security and cyber defense, including Hands-On work with security systems
• Experience in designing secure network architecture and defining methodologies and protection processes for infrastructures and information systems
• Experience in evaluating security technologies and products, including protection solutions in cloud environments and integrating them into computing infrastructures
• Experience in writing hardening and protection documents for operating systems, databases, servers, and network components
• Experience supporting and managing technological projects in information security aspects and in reviewing technological tenders
