Automation Engineer

The Israeli R&D center, which operates with the agile culture of an acquired startup, focuses on innovative solutions in AI Security, developer experience, and high-performance cloud systems.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Technical Leadership: Serving as a senior member of the core engineering team, driving the design and architecture of automation frameworks.
• Framework Development: Building and scaling Python-based automation frameworks specifically designed to validate API Security products.
• Cloud Integration: Working across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, to ensure cross-platform product reliability.
• Feature Analysis: Leading the planning, design, and analysis of new product features from a quality and security perspective.
• Hybrid Testing: Maintaining a core focus on automation (Pytest) while performing manual testing and deep-dive analysis when required for complex features.
• Orchestration: Operating within Kubernetes environments to validate containerized security solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Automation Engineering – Mandatory.
• Expertise in Python development (specifically for automation and framework building) – Mandatory.
• Deep understanding of Web API Security and modern security protocols – Mandatory.
• Proven track record with complex, large-scale systems – Mandatory.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform system design, feature analysis, and end-to-end testing cycles.
