Board Design Engineers – Electronics | Elbit Systems

Elbit Systems is looking for Board Design Engineers to join its electronics development teams.

The role focuses on the design and development of electronic circuits and electronic assemblies (boxes, units, etc.), primarily in the fields of digital systems and embedded systems, with exposure to analog design as well.

Role Responsibilities

• Full hardware design cycle: requirements definition, schematic design, editing, and verification of high-speed circuits, including FPGA-based designs, advanced processors, and high-speed interfaces such as DDR4, SerDes, and more

• Working with Mentor Graphics DX Designer schematic tools

• Close collaboration with PCB layout engineers on mixed-signal (analog & digital) boards

• Familiarity with environmental standards, EMC, and related compliance requirements

• Knowledge of Video and Image Processing standards

• Background in motor control and servo systems

• End-to-end product support throughout all lifecycle stages — from specification and development to delivery and maintenance

Additional Information

• Employment is subject to completion of a 12-week professional training program, provided at no cost

• Location: Rehovot, Israel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering.

• GPA of 85 or higher.

• Strong self-learning ability, teamwork skills, logical thinking, and ability to work independently.

• High-level verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.

• Ability to present and communicate effectively in front of an audience.
